The work Verdant Mountains at Dusk by Lou Bo'An was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. It achieved a price of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 39,661.80), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Admittedly, works by Lou Bo'An have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,736,000.00 (€ 166,076.86).

Die Arbeit Verdant Mountains at Dusk von Lou Bo'An wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 39.661,80) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lou Bo'An auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.736.000,00 (€ 166.076,86).
