The work Landscape by Lou Bo'An was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,160,000.00 (€ 115,019.22), 45% above the upper estimate. Other works by Lou Bo'An have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 1,736,000.00 (€ 166,076.86) in November 2011 for the work Landscape.
