Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lou Bo'An could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Landscape changed hands for HKD 13,860.00 (€ 1,665.50) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lou Bo'An achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,736,000.00 (€ 166,076.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lou Bo'An konnte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online wechselte die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 13.860,00 (€ 1.665,50) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lou Bo'An erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.736.000,00 (€ 166.076,86).
