This artwork by Lou Bo'An achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Landscape After Rain sold for HKD 1,580,000.00 (€ 141,338.34) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lou Bo'An; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscape sold at auction in November 2011 with the realized price of HKD 1,736,000.00 (€ 166,076.86).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lou Bo'An erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscape After Rain für HKD 1.580.000,00 (€ 141.338,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lou Bo'An; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landscape im November 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.736.000,00 (€ 166.076,86).
