Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Culture" by Lotta Hannerz was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,294.14). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lotta Hannerz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Precision", which sold at auction in November 2016 for SEK 125,000.00 (€ 12,762.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Culture" von Lotta Hannerz im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.294,14) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lotta Hannerz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Precision" beobachtet, die im November 2016 für SEK 125.000,00 (€ 12.762,34) versteigert wurde.
