The work Landscape After Wang Yuanqi by Liu Yanchong was worth HKD 775,000.00 (€ 91,477.74) to a buyer in April 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 240,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Liu Yanchong; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Scholar Brewing Tea After Chou Ying sold at auction in October 2017 with the realized price of HKD 1,562,500.00 (€ 171,971.58).

Die Arbeit Landscape After Wang Yuanqi von Liu Yanchong war einem Käufer im April 2017 HKD 775.000,00 (€ 91.477,74) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 240.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
