Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chrysanthemum by Liu Yanchong was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2012. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,584.63). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Yanchong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scholar Brewing Tea After Chou Ying in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,562,500.00 (€ 171,971.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chrysanthemum von Liu Yanchong kam im September 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 18.750,00 (€ 14.584,63) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Yanchong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scholar Brewing Tea After Chou Ying im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.562.500,00 (€ 171.971,58).
