In June 2001 Christies in Los Angeles held the auction POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART, which included this untitled work by Lita Albuquerque. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,287.50 (€ 6,239.67), 32% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lita Albuquerque have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Auric Field Solar Flash (Gold au2) in June 2021 with an auction result of USD 44,100.00 (€ 37,221.47).

Im Juni 2001 führte Christies in Los Angeles die Auktion POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lita Albuquerque zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.287,50 (€ 6.239,67) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lita Albuquerque auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Auric Field Solar Flash (Gold au2) im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.100,00 (€ 37.221,47).
