Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lita Albuquerque could be acquired at Christies in New York in March 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Barges: Four Works changed hands for USD 625.00 (€ 440.67) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lita Albuquerque achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Auric Field Solar Flash (Gold au2) in June 2021 with an auction result of USD 44,100.00 (€ 37,221.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lita Albuquerque konnte im März 2011 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Barges: Four Works für USD 625,00 (€ 440,67) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lita Albuquerque erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Auric Field Solar Flash (Gold au2) im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.100,00 (€ 37.221,47).
