Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fashion Show, Hotel Pierre, NYC by Lisette Model was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in October 2019. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,602.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lisette Model have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Woman with Veil, San Francisco, 1949 in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,912.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fashion Show, Hotel Pierre, NYC von Lisette Model wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.602,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lisette Model auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Woman with Veil, San Francisco, 1949 im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.200,00 (€ 45.912,91).
