Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fashion Show, Hotel Pierre by Lisette Model was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in April last year. The price achieved of USD 3,528.00 (€ 3,348.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lisette Model achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman with Veil, San Francisco, 1949 in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,912.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fashion Show, Hotel Pierre von Lisette Model wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.528,00 (€ 3.348,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lisette Model erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman with Veil, San Francisco, 1949 im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.200,00 (€ 45.912,91).
