Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Coney Island Bather, New York by Lisette Model for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,335.65). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lisette Model achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman with Veil, San Francisco, 1949 in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,912.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Coney Island Bather, New York von Lisette Model für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.335,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lisette Model erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman with Veil, San Francisco, 1949 im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.200,00 (€ 45.912,91).
