Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Hole by Lisa Ruyter was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale (Afternoon Session) auction at Christies in London in February 2008. The price achieved of GBP 14,900.00 (€ 19,488.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lisa Ruyter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Top of The World, which sold at auction in May 2006 for USD 50,400.00 (€ 39,273.75).

Die Arbeit The Hole von Lisa Ruyter wurde im Februar 2008 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale (Afternoon Session) bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 14.900,00 (€ 19.488,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lisa Ruyter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Top of The World beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für USD 50.400,00 (€ 39.273,75) versteigert wurde.
