In September 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work The Picturebook by Lilla Cabot Perry. The »bidding war« ended at USD 80,500.00 (€ 59,186.82), 61% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lilla Cabot Perry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Girl Reading A Book, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 150,000.00 (€ 126,071.61).

Im September 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Picturebook von Lilla Cabot Perry zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 80.500,00 (€ 59.186,82) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lilla Cabot Perry mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Girl Reading A Book beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 150.000,00 (€ 126.071,61) versteigert wurde.
