This artwork by Lilla Cabot Perry achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2008. In the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work In the Böhmerwald sold for USD 56,250.00 (€ 39,947.45) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lilla Cabot Perry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Girl Reading A Book, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 150,000.00 (€ 126,071.61).

In der Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture wurde die Arbeit In the Böhmerwald für USD 56.250,00 (€ 39.947,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lilla Cabot Perry mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Girl Reading A Book beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 150.000,00 (€ 126.071,61) versteigert wurde.
