This artwork by Lilla Cabot Perry achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2008. In the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Baby sold for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,657.91) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lilla Cabot Perry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Girl Reading A Book in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 126,071.61).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lilla Cabot Perry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Girl Reading A Book im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 126.071,61).
