Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Baby by Lilla Cabot Perry for USD 375.00 (€ 298.14). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lilla Cabot Perry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Girl Reading A Book in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 126,071.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Baby von Lilla Cabot Perry für USD 375,00 (€ 298,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lilla Cabot Perry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Girl Reading A Book im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 126.071,61).
