In June 2005 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art and Dogs, which included the work Deer Hounds by Lillian Cheviot. The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,446.19) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Lillian Cheviot have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2001 the work A Sheepdog Puppy With A Kitten was auctioned for GBP 4,112.50 (€ 6,831.68).

Im Juni 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Deer Hounds von Lillian Cheviot zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 4.446,19) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Lillian Cheviot konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2001 die Arbeit A Sheepdog Puppy With A Kitten für GBP 4.112,50 (€ 6.831,68) versteigert.
