Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Scotties by Lillian Cheviot was sold in the The Dog Sale auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 640.00 (€ 741.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Lillian Cheviot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Sheepdog Puppy With A Kitten in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 4,112.50 (€ 6,831.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Scotties von Lillian Cheviot wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Dog Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 640,00 (€ 741,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lillian Cheviot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Sheepdog Puppy With A Kitten im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.112,50 (€ 6.831,68).
