Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 937.50 (€ 1,149.82). Admittedly, works by Lillian Cheviot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Sheepdog Puppy With A Kitten in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 4,112.50 (€ 6,831.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Jodhpur lancers von Lillian Cheviot kam im April 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 937,50 (€ 1.149,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lillian Cheviot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Sheepdog Puppy With A Kitten im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.112,50 (€ 6.831,68).
