Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art | New York, which included the work Sin título by Lilia Carrillo. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,380.00 (€ 14,472.52). Admittedly, works by Lilia Carrillo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Momento Anterior in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 88,200.00 (€ 72,330.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art | New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sin título von Lilia Carrillo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.380,00 (€ 14.472,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lilia Carrillo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Momento Anterior im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 88.200,00 (€ 72.330,65).
