The work Lion Rock by Li Tiefu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,709.91), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Admittedly, works by Li Tiefu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Cabbage And Fish in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,410,000.00 (€ 131,139.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lion Rock von Li Tiefu kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.709,91) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Tiefu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Cabbage And Fish im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.410.000,00 (€ 131.139,15).
