Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Wish For Longevity (Diptych) by Li Songsong. The price achieved of HKD 3,400,000.00 (€ 316,222.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000,000.00 – 4,000,000.00. Other works by Li Songsong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2013 the work National Geographic was auctioned for HKD 5,750,000.00 (€ 562,860.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wish For Longevity (Diptych) von Li Songsong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.400.000,00 (€ 316.222,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000.000,00 – 4.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Li Songsong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2013 die Arbeit National Geographic für HKD 5.750.000,00 (€ 562.860,72) versteigert.
