Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gift I by Li Songsong was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 33,587.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Songsong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work National Geographic in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 5,750,000.00 (€ 562,860.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gift I von Li Songsong wurde im November 2015 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 33.587,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Songsong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit National Geographic im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.750.000,00 (€ 562.860,72).
