Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reading A Book In The Landscape by Li Jian was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Li Jian have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work Boating Alone was auctioned for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 38,266.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Reading A Book In The Landscape von Li Jian wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Li Jian konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2011 die Arbeit Boating Alone für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 38.266,56) versteigert.
