Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape After Shitao by Li Jian was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 63,000.00 (€ 6,745.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Li Jian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boating Alone in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 38,266.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape After Shitao von Li Jian wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 63.000,00 (€ 6.745,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Jian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Boating Alone im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 38.266,56).
