Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Li Jian. The price achieved of HKD 7,080.00 (€ 797.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Jian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boating Alone in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 38,266.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Li Jian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 7.080,00 (€ 797,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Jian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boating Alone im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 38.266,56).
