Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lying On Snow by Li Huayi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. The price achieved of HKD 8,040,000.00 (€ 890,495.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000,000.00 – 10,000,000.00. Other works by Li Huayi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April last year the work Forever Young was auctioned for HKD 12,475,000.00 (€ 1,508,318.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lying On Snow von Li Huayi kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 8.040.000,00 (€ 890.495,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000.000,00 – 10.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Li Huayi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April letzten Jahres die Arbeit Forever Young für HKD 12.475.000,00 (€ 1.508.318,31) versteigert.
