Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Li Fangying achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2013. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Plum Blossoms sold for USD 317,000.00 (€ 247,347.07) - well above the upper estimate of USD 150,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Li Fangying; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Flowers sold at auction in September 2014 with the realized price of USD 461,000.00 (€ 365,061.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Li Fangying erzielte im März 2013 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Plum Blossoms für USD 317.000,00 (€ 247.347,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 150.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Li Fangying; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Flowers im September 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 461.000,00 (€ 365.061,77).
