In July 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Pine, Orchids, Chrysanthemums And Plum Blossom by Li Fangying. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 300,000.00 (€ 32,869.03), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Fangying achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 461,000.00 (€ 365,061.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pine, Orchids, Chrysanthemums And Plum Blossom von Li Fangying zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 32.869,03) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Fangying erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 461.000,00 (€ 365.061,77).
