This artwork by Li Fangying achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2015. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Bamboo And Flowers sold for USD 162,500.00 (€ 151,289.45) - well above the upper estimate of USD 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Fangying - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers, which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 461,000.00 (€ 365,061.77).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Li Fangying erzielte im März 2015 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Bamboo And Flowers für USD 162.500,00 (€ 151.289,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 90.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Fangying mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 461.000,00 (€ 365.061,77) versteigert wurde.
