The work Chrysanthemums in Ink by Li Fangying was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. It achieved a price of HKD 54,000.00 (€ 5,236.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Fangying achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 461,000.00 (€ 365,061.77).

Die Arbeit Chrysanthemums in Ink von Li Fangying wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 54.000,00 (€ 5.236,71) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Fangying erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 461.000,00 (€ 365.061,77).
