Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session), which included this untitled work by Li Chun-Shan. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,444.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 140,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Chun-Shan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstraction in May 2005 with an auction result of HKD 3,928,000.00 (€ 409,054.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Li Chun-Shan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.444,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 140.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Chun-Shan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstraction im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.928.000,00 (€ 409.054,01).
