The work Untitled; Abstract by Li Chun-Shan was sold in the 20th Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. It achieved a price of HKD 126,000.00 (€ 14,785.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Chun-Shan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstraction in May 2005 with an auction result of HKD 3,928,000.00 (€ 409,054.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled; Abstract von Li Chun-Shan wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 126.000,00 (€ 14.785,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Chun-Shan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstraction im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.928.000,00 (€ 409.054,01).
