Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Li Chun-Shan. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 138,600.00 (€ 16,264.03), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Chun-Shan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstraction in May 2005 with an auction result of HKD 3,928,000.00 (€ 409,054.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Li Chun-Shan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 138.600,00 (€ 16.264,03) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Chun-Shan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstraction im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.928.000,00 (€ 409.054,01).
