Auction result well in line with expectations
The work No. 157 by Li Chun-Shan was sold in the Modern Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,556.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Chun-Shan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstraction in May 2005 with an auction result of HKD 3,928,000.00 (€ 409,054.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit No. 157 von Li Chun-Shan wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Modern Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.556,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Chun-Shan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstraction im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.928.000,00 (€ 409.054,01).
