In October 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art, which included the work No. 005 by Li Chun-Shan. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,430.97), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Chun-Shan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstraction in May 2005 with an auction result of HKD 3,928,000.00 (€ 409,054.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit No. 005 von Li Chun-Shan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.430,97) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Chun-Shan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstraction im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.928.000,00 (€ 409.054,01).
