Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Park City 44 by Lewis Baltz was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in April 2021. The price achieved of USD 4,032.00 (€ 3,351.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lewis Baltz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Candlestick Point in April 2018 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 98,351.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Park City 44 von Lewis Baltz wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.032,00 (€ 3.351,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lewis Baltz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Candlestick Point im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 98.351,83).
