Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,679.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lewis Baltz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Candlestick Point in April 2018 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 98,351.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Corona Del Mar, 1973 A von Lewis Baltz wurde im April 2020 in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.679,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lewis Baltz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Candlestick Point im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 98.351,83).
