This work without title by Leonid Purygin was worth GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,777.55) to a buyer in November 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Leonid Purygin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Babylon Tower sold at auction in November 2007 with the realized price of GBP 56,900.00 (€ 79,674.72).
