Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Leonid Purygin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2021. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work without title sold for GBP 50,400.00 (€ 58,729.10) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Leonid Purygin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Babylon Tower sold at auction in November 2007 with the realized price of GBP 56,900.00 (€ 79,674.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Leonid Purygin erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 50.400,00 (€ 58.729,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Leonid Purygin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Babylon Tower im November 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 56.900,00 (€ 79.674,72).
