Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Leonid Purygin was sold in the Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online auction at Sothebys in London in October 2020. The price achieved of GBP 6,300.00 (€ 6,995.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonid Purygin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Babylon Tower in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 56,900.00 (€ 79,674.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Leonid Purygin wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.300,00 (€ 6.995,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leonid Purygin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Babylon Tower im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.900,00 (€ 79.674,72).
