Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The woman of many guises bringing flowers and singing me a lullaby by Leonid Purygin was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2011. The price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,403.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leonid Purygin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Babylon Tower in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 56,900.00 (€ 79,674.72).

Die Arbeit The woman of many guises bringing flowers and singing me a lullaby von Leonid Purygin kam im November 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.403,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonid Purygin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Babylon Tower im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.900,00 (€ 79.674,72).
