Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of a lady by Leonard McComb was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2004. It changed hands for a price of GBP 191.20 (€ 286.21) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 25.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonard McComb achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fish in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,547.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a lady von Leonard McComb kam im März 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 191,20 (€ 286,21) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25,00 – 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leonard McComb erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fish im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 8.547,55).
