Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life with Fish by Leonard McComb was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in April 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,785.00 (€ 2,053.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leonard McComb have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fish in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,547.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life with Fish von Leonard McComb wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.785,00 (€ 2.053,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonard McComb auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fish im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 8.547,55).
