Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Chiffer" by Leonard Forslund was sold in the Autumn Modern sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2009. It changed hands for a price of SEK 19,000.00 (€ 1,825.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leonard Forslund have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Hus i Öst, Hus i Nord, Hus i Väst, Hus i Syd" in October 2009 with an auction result of SEK 78,000.00 (€ 7,496.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Chiffer" von Leonard Forslund wurde im Oktober 2009 in der Auktion Autumn Modern sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von SEK 19.000,00 (€ 1.825,96) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonard Forslund auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Hus i Öst, Hus i Nord, Hus i Väst, Hus i Syd" im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 78.000,00 (€ 7.496,04).
