Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work French nymphe Des Eaux by Léon Perrault. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,691.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léon Perrault achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Out In The Cold in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 206,500.00 (€ 155,239.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit French nymphe Des Eaux von Léon Perrault zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.691,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Léon Perrault erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Out In The Cold im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 206.500,00 (€ 155.239,81).
