Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work A Rest In The Shade by Léon Perrault. The price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,805.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Léon Perrault have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French Out In The Cold in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 206,500.00 (€ 155,239.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Rest In The Shade von Léon Perrault zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 33.805,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Léon Perrault auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French Out In The Cold im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 206.500,00 (€ 155.239,81).
