Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Léon Perrault could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection auction, the work French le Goûter changed hands for USD 35,000.00 (€ 29,416.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Léon Perrault have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French Out In The Cold in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 206,500.00 (€ 155,239.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Léon Perrault konnte im November 2017 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection wechselte die Arbeit French le Goûter für USD 35.000,00 (€ 29.416,71) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00.
