Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Feeding the chickens 32 x 26in (81.3 x 66.1cm) unframed by Léon Perrault was sold in the Home & Interiors Collections auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 25,600.00 (€ 23,469.01) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Léon Perrault have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French Out In The Cold in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 206,500.00 (€ 155,239.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Feeding the chickens 32 x 26in (81.3 x 66.1cm) unframed von Léon Perrault wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Home & Interiors Collections bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 25.600,00 (€ 23.469,01) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Léon Perrault auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French Out In The Cold im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 206.500,00 (€ 155.239,81).
